Natasha, the artist, has included a legend  and information on the back of her canvas-- this is unusual!

Her title of the work is: "Women collecting bush tucka, kids playing, men out hunting for kangaroo (malu) and emu (kalaya)."

"Bush tomatoes, bush banana in the bushes, mountains waterholes and the dry land are all part of the tjahurpa means dreaming or law for our people.  All of life's creations, the land, bushes, animals and bush tucker are treated with highest respect   Some of the law is held in the spirit realm.  Restricted to all anangus (us) and piranpa (white fellas) which are not part of our culture."  (sic)
